Noble Men & Women Workshops
Planning and Goals
“The course material provided just what we have needed to get us working together instead of against each other. The pre-course work helped us to get into the mindset to really determine what our goals as a family and couple are. Then to be able to begin to get a plan to put those goals in action while in Springfield helped us to feel like we were well on our way before we ever arrived back home. For us, the Blessing Identity Statement Exercise was one of the most beneficial things as a couple we have ever done. We see the incredible power this will have with our children and those families the Lord has placed in our sphere of influence.“

My Life is a Song of Joy!
“I have been writing letters to you every day this week in my mind, and now I am able to sit down and actually tell you on paper. My life is a song of joy! I have always been an ‘optimistic’ person, and it’s easy for me to look on the bright side of things (except when I fall apart and everything is bad and wrong), but now, I live to bring glory to God! He has changed my life, again. Never have I had joy just bubbling out all over, (it’s those springs from my innermost being), and hearing Keith say my blessing to me (at the breakfast table, with everyone there to listen, before he leaves for work) and saying his blessing to him has made Christ in us so real in the present moment.“

Applying Forgotten Truth
??How refreshing and exciting it was to review the teachings of the Basic and Advanced Seminars with an eye toward application. I had failed to apply (and subsequently forgotten) such powerful teachings as the Full Potential of the Home, the Four Purposes of Money, and the Six Purposes of Marriage. Now I am almost assured of learning and applying them since I have made them personal applications for the next 3 months and I have brothers who are holding me accountable to learn them!“

This 3 Day Retreat Worked!
“Another reason I thought this worked is that we actually saw the full potential of a home being developed. I would not have had the same feeling if we would have been in a ‘building’ of some sort. Everybody helped with food prep. Everybody had relaxing meals and really loved those moments. Chris and Anne made me and several others I talked to feel so comfortable. The blessing statements were very good. The over all feel for me was that this 3 day retreat worked. And can be developed into something that will change lives“

Time Seemed to Bend
“I suppose one measure of a good seminar might be the way time seems to ‘bend’. By Saturday night it seemed that we had been together for more time than we really had. There was just so much good… The planning tool really appeals to me and I began using it this morning. I can see real benefit in this tool helping fathers stay more in contact with the home education program. But more than that, it should help us as we try to direct and nurture the spiritual growth of our families.“

A Life Altering Weekend
“This weekend was as altering. Using the fathers log, creating our life goals, and our blessing/identity statement took us back to all the great resources that we already had (Basic and Advanced textbooks). We have already started blessing each other and our children every day. My wife and children can??????t wait for their blessing. Kari and I have started working on life goals for the children and hope to have them done by October.
“This was something I always wanted to do but it seemed to overwhelming. Being together going through the process this past weekend was just what it took for us to get it on paper and apply it.“

Setting Goals to Make Dreams a Reality
“It personally stretched us to set goals (short and long term) for ourselves and to put our dreams into action…to change our today and our tomorrow… The blessing identity statements were so awesome for us! We have something tangible to put into practice… that we might bless one another and our children daily! We know God will honor the desires of our hearts for these blessings to be upon us. Thanks!“

Realizing Our Need for Grace
“Saturday Morning Discipleship – This was an excellent example for me. I have not been involved in a group study like this before, and have not been a very good leader for my family. We regularly read God’s word together, but I am not effective in asking appropriate questions to get a discussion going. This time gave me some insights into just how simple some of the questions can be to spur on deeper discussion. Now I need to apply these concepts in my family.
“I approached this weekend with a great deal of trepidation… We lived under the law for four hard years, now we are realizing our need of God’s grace, forgiveness and love. And this is where I have arrived feeling a real difference between ‘us and them’. Many of the people in this group don’t fit my picture of an ATI family on the outside, but I do see a love for relationship with Christ and true desire to encourage others for God’s best. This has been confusing for me, yet God is allowing us to be a part of something different to show that He works differently in others lives. Just because He has placed me in a seperated and fundamental Church does not mean He is only working in like Churches.
“In conclusion, I left the weekend excited and with true hope for the future. Realizing that ATI can be a great tool if we use it centering our hearts on God’s perfect will and personal vision for our family.“
